03 – 04.04.2026 | Cairo, Egypt. Egypt Rage War made its statement loud and clear: Egypt is now firmly on the Streetlifting map. Organized by Ashraf Adel and powered by a strong lineup of sponsors : Weighted Gang, Rogue Extreme Productions, Rage Calisthenics, Evolve Supplements, Fibres Clinic, Rise Team, Turbo Store, and Eagle Nest, the event brought together 60 athletes and 100 spectators at the iconic Cairo International Stadium for two full days of high-level competition.

This edition marked a pivotal turning point: Egypt Rage War  transitioned from an underground competition to an official FinalRep QUALIFIER, raising the bar across every aspect : from equipment and judging to media production and event structure.

Event Overview

Spread across two full days: from 9:00 AM on April 3rd to 10:00 PM on April 4th, the event featured 60 athletes stepping onto the platform. A crew of approximately 50 organizers and a dedicated media team of 10+ ensured the competition ran smoothly from start to finish.

The upgrade to an official qualifier format was visible in every detail: professional equipment, licensed and educated judges, a full livestream production, and an expanded set of weight categories all contributed to an experience that clearly exceeded the organizers‘ own initial expectations. The atmosphere was competitive, energetic, and, above all, a clear signal that Egypt’s Streetlifting scene is ready for the international stage.

Highlights and Athletes Performance

One of the most talked-about moments of the competition came from Ali Shaaben, who attempted world records in both the muscle-up and dips but unfortunatly the lifts were not valid and he got disqualified from the competition beacuse he left the bar during his last squat attempt. Based on a case review, it has been decided to disqualify him from the current competition only, waiving a ban for the next to years.

The -80kg was the most competitive category of the event a genuine international battle featuring athletes from Lebanon, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. Charbel Charabaty from Lebanon took first with a massive 476.25kg total, edging out Egypt’s Ashraf Adel (463.75kg) who posted the heaviest muscle-up of the entire category at 42.5kg a new category record. Hatem Elbakri from Saudi Arabia, finishing fourth, produced the heaviest chin-up of the whole competition at an outstanding 95kg.

The -94kg category delivered the highest total of the day: Egypt’s Yahya Ahmed reached 515kg and landed the heaviest dip of the entire competition  a powerful 160kg dip. Mehdi Nemsia from Tunisia followed closely with 495kg and hit the highest squat of the competition at 235kg, alongside Youssef Amr from the -87kg class, who arrived second after Hatem Khater .

In the -73kg division, Lebanon’s Maroun Bou Seliman stood out with a dominant all-around performance, topping a 40kg muscle-up, 90kg pull-up, 135kg dip, and 180kg squat for a RIS of 99.50 — the highest RIS of any male athlete at the event.

On the women’s side, Egypt’s Nada Sameh dominated the overall ranking with the top muscle-up (12.5kg) and top squat (110kg) in the women’s division, finishing with a RIS of 70.38.

Organizational Insights

The scale of improvement compared to previous editions was significant. Moving from an underground format to a fully structured official qualifier required major upgrades across the board: a professional livestream, expanded weight categories, certified judging, and high-quality equipment were all introduced for this edition. With a team of around 60 people managing everything from logistics to media, Rage War Egypt delivered a competition that exceeded its own goals.

The one area flagged for future improvement was managing the sheer volume of change, introducing so many upgrades simultaneously made the transition demanding. Moving to an indoor venue is also on the wishlist, to eliminate any weather-related variables. Otherwise, athlete and visitor feedback was unanimously positive throughout both days.

Community Response & Future Outlook

The response from the community was immediate and enthusiastic. Spectators at Cairo International Stadium were fully engaged throughout both days, and the online audience followed the action live via the official YouTube stream. Social media reaction was strong, with the community already looking ahead to the next edition. As one attendee captured it best:

„Egypt finally on the map with the strongest.“

The next major milestone for the Egyptian scene is already in the works: a full national championship is planned for 2027, building on the momentum that Rage War Egypt has now firmly set in motion.

Conclusion

Rage War Egypt 2026 was more than a competition, it was a declaration. From record attempts and international podiums to a crowd that felt every single lift, this event proved that Egypt has the athletes, the passion, and the organizational drive to be a serious force in global Streetlifting.

The transition to an official FinalRep qualifier was handled with ambition and execution, and the results speak for themselves. The scene here is young, hungry, and growing fast.

Egypt is coming, and it’s coming strong.

We’re proud to be part of this journey. Until next time — Let’s keep pushing the limits together!
