A mature set of rules is the cornerstone of a sport that is capable of development. Just as important as the existence of rules is their implementation in competitions. The FinalRep Judging Licence was created with the intention of ensuring the successful implementation of the FinalRep rules at competitions. In the form of an online class, this education program offers existing and prospective streetlifting judges the opportunity to train their knowledge and decision-making skills.
By offering a Judging License, we intend to promote the quality of judging in streetlifting worldwide and to strengthen the local and international networks of judges. The more well-trained judges there are, the more competitions can be organised.
The Judging License is therefore a key growth driver for the further development of the sport.
The FinalRep Judging License is an online training program that covers theoretical and practical training aspects of the judging in Streetlifting. The online class therefore consists of two elements:
Including 39 videos with more than 2 hours total, explaining all chapters of the official FinalRep rulebook in detail and completed by a theoretical exam. The entire theory class and the corresponding exam are available on the online training platform Thinkific.
As an extension to our FinalRep app, we have created our own education platform where we provide judging training videos. These are recordings real lifts picked from the live streams of our past competitions, which we have combined with some evaluation queries.
This platform is freely accessible to every user of the FinalRep app. The training videos can be repeated as often as you like. The final exam for this section can be requested in the platform itself. Requests will only be accepted after the theoretical exams have been completed in Thinkific.
As a FinalRep licensed streetlifting judge, you have the following benefits
Once you have successfully completed your oral examination with a judging instructor, you will receive an official certificate within a few days
As an Streetlifting judge, you will be visible as such in the FinalRep App. After successful examination, we will assign an official „Judge“ Batch to your profile.
The position of judge is a key role in any sports competition. It is therefore important to emphasise their position visibly. With this T-shirt, we want to give judges the visibility and appreciation they deserve.
This shirt is available exclusively for licensed judges. After successful completion of the oral examination, judges will receive a direct link to our online shop where they can purchase this shirt for 35€.
The Judging License is a training programme in a two-stage licensing model: initial licensing and recurring annual renewal.
A renewal is important because our rules and regulations are updated at regular intervals (more on this at our rulebook website). Judges are obliged to familiarize themselves with these changes. With a recurring examination, we ensure that all officially licensed judges are up to date.
