06 – 07.06.2026 | WYSH Gym, Hamburg, Germany. Five editions in, the DACH CUP has become something the German Streetlifting community can set its calendar by. Organized directly by the FinalRep Germany Team. Christian Zöller Versicherungen, and Nocco, this year’s edition brought 50 athletes to Hamburg for a weekend that delivered exactly what a flagship national event should: world-class organization, emotional storylines, and performances that demanded attention.
National records fell, unofficial world records were matched, and one athlete had what he called one of the best days of his life, in his own hometown, in front of his own family.
Event Overview
Saturday ran from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with Sunday following a shorter window from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A team of 30 people handled the event, anchored by a six-person core organizing group and led by overall event manager David Lüdke. With 50 athletes on the platform and 100 spectators in attendance, the DACH CUP maintained the scale and polish expected from an event run by the team behind FinalRep’s own international competitions.
One notable late change in venue type, moving from a sports hall to a dedicated gym setting, was handled smoothly and contributed positively to the overall atmosphere of the weekend.
Highlights and Athletes Performance
The -57kg female category went to Layla-Jona Bake, who claimed the win with a new national muscle-up record of 21.25kg, a performance that opened the competition with an immediate statement of intent.
In the -63kg female class, Meike Pohl delivered one of the most complete performances of the entire weekend, sweeping four national records in a single category: a 42.5kg pull-up, a 76.25kg dip, a 160kg squat, and a 293.75kg total. Four records, one athlete, one flight.
The -73kg male category was won by Ali Shabeen with a massive 478.75kg total, a result built on an unofficial world record muscle-up and dip. The same category also produced one of the most genuinely emotional moments of the weekend with the home-side performance of Sinh Huynh, competing in front of his own family in his hometown, an experience he described himself as one of the best days of his life.
In the -87kg male class, Timo Wunnenberg claimed the win behind a towering 103kg pull-up, one of the standout overhead performances of the entire competition.
Organizational Insights
The DACH CUP met its goals in full. Feedback from athletes and the community was strongly positive across social media engagement and venue atmosphere, and the late switch from a sports hall to a gym setting turned out to be a clear improvement.
Not everything ran without friction. The competition banner failed to arrive on time, forcing the team into a last-minute express order with a Hamburg-based manufacturer at two and a half times the originally planned cost. A separate issue with the team’s hotel booking required relocating in the middle of the night. Both situations were resolved without affecting the competition itself, a reflection of an organizing team experienced in managing exactly this kind of pressure.
Looking ahead, the team’s stated priority is to collaborate with the DCSV as the new host of the German FinalRep QUALIFIER, a structural step that points toward continued growth for the event format in Germany.
Community Response & Future Outlook
The response from the Hamburg crowd and the wider online community was strongly positive, with particular praise directed at the venue and the social media presence around the event. As Sinh Huynh put it, reflecting on competing at home:
„To compete at this stage in my hometown with all my family members showing up was one of the best days of my life.“
With EUROS now on the horizon, several of this weekend’s standout performers will carry the momentum from Hamburg directly into the next phase of the season.

The DACH CUP 2026 was a fifth edition that looked every bit like it: experienced, polished, and built by a team that knows exactly what a major Streetlifting event requires. National records were rewritten across multiple categories, and unofficial world records were matched, and the weekend closed with a story that reminded everyone why this sport means so much to the people who build it.
