Insights and Improvements from the WORLDS 25 Season

29.09.2025 | FinalRep Team

With the conclusion of the WORLDS 25 Qualifier Season, we want to pause and reflect on what has truly been a milestone year for Streetlifting. First, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed their feedback—over 100 voices from 14 events worldwide. That level of engagement is not only invaluable, it’s inspiring.

This article builds directly on our previous feedback evaluation and takes a closer look at the insights we’ve gathered. But before we dive in, let’s remember the bigger picture:

  • WORLDS 25 was the first worldwide competition season in Streetlifting history.
  • 16 competitions across 4 continents were hosted under the FinalRep rulebook.
  • Over 1,000 athletes participated, setting the stage for the first true World Championships.

It was a season of firsts, of experimentation, and of growth—not only for athletes, but also for event organizers, judges, and the entire FinalRep community.

1) Judging Consistency

The most frequently raised topic was judging fairness and transparency. While experiences varied, the root cause can be summed up in one word: Education.

That’s why we launched the FinalRep Judging License—the first global online education program for Streetlifting judges. Through a structured course, practical tests, and a final live exam, judges now have the chance to be officially certified.

Although this program only launched at the end of January 2025, with some events already deep in preparation, we still required at least one licensed judge per competition. The results were clear: the more licensed judges present, the higher the quality of judging reported.

👉 Moving forward into 2026, FinalRep will put even greater emphasis on the Judging License. Our goal is to promote this education program more strongly worldwide and encourage organizers to integrate more licensed judges into their teams. This way, we ensure fairness continues to improve and standards keep rising season after season.

2) Quality of Event Management

Organizing a Streetlifting competition at international level is no small task. From logistics to scheduling, equipment to athlete flow, the skill set required is broad—and understandably, some organizers had more experience than others.

What matters most: every single organizer who stepped forward this season showed courage and dedication to building the sport. And that deserves recognition.

Our path forward is clear: once again, Education. FinalRep will expand support for organizers by:

  • Providing deeper guidance on how to structure events.
  • Offering resources and training on how to use the FinalRep App effectively.
  • Sharing best practices on drafting and educating teams.

Even at a small scale, we believe this initiative will empower organizers everywhere to deliver smoother, more professional competitions in the future.

3) Clarity of Structure

Finally, many athletes and organizers highlighted a need for clearer understanding of the overall sport structure—from registrations and weigh-ins to qualification pathways and record policies.

This is natural. After all, 2025 was the first-ever global Streetlifting season. We were all learning in real time: athletes, judges, organizers—and even us at FinalRep.

Our takeaway? The work we’re doing is vital. Establishing unified standards, developing education systems, and coordinating a global season are exactly what the sport needs to grow. While some uncertainty is inevitable at this stage, every step forward is laying the foundation for the future.

Closing Reflection

Looking back, we’re proud. Proud of the athletes who pushed their limits, proud of the organizers who carried this sport in their regions, and proud of the global community that made this historic season possible.

Looking ahead, we’re excited. Excited to continue building structure, raising standards, and learning together with you. The journey of Streetlifting has only just begun.

And now—it’s time to enjoy the biggest Streetlifting competition in history:
