26.04.2025 | Columbia, Maryland. The 2025 USA Streetlifting National Championships – First USA Worlds Qualifier brought high-stakes competition and passionate energy to Chiseled Life Gym, marking a major step forward for the American streetlifting scene. Organized by Eugene Jimenez (@strength_gene) and supported by Mantime Fitness, King of Weighted, and Kensui Fitness, the two-day event drew athletes and spectators from across the country, all eager to leave their mark on the U.S. stage.
Event Overview
Set inside the intense and community-driven space of Chiseled Life Gym, the National Championships welcomed 36 athletes and over 50 spectators across April 26–27, 2025. As the first-ever USA FinalRep Worlds Qualifier, this event was not only a milestone—it was a proving ground. Athletes from every prior USA event showed up to compete, connect, and raise the bar.
While some early technical challenges—including a combo rack issue and limited livestream camera reach caused minor delays, the competition delivered with nonstop action, impressive lifts, and a tight atmosphere. Despite a few disqualifications (6 in total), the overall mood remained high, with solid performances and community support flowing from start to finish.
Highlights and Athletic Performances
The USA Nationals delivered massive lifts and unforgettable moments.
Danae Morgan (@queenofgainz) stole the spotlight with a 57.5kg weighted chin-up in the 70kg class—an unofficial world record that lit up the audience and captured what this competition was all about: raw power and world-class potential. This event also marked the first-ever 2-day Streetlifting meet in the U.S., and the second All4 event held in America—both indicators of the sport’s explosive growth.

Organizational Insights
The event was put together by a dedicated three-person team—Eugene, Theo, and Marcus— with multiple volunteers helping during teardown. The effort was significant, with almost no downtime across both days, ensuring a tight, fast-moving schedule.
Feedback was solid across the board:
- 76.5% of competitors were very satisfied with the competition, were very satisfied with its flow, said they were very likely to return to compete again.
Quote from athlete survey:
„It exceeded my expectations. The flow and timing was smooth and efficient. Athletes had enough time to warm up and at the same time didn’t have to wait around long before each attempt.“
However, there were lessons learned. Judging accuracy was a mixed point (with 35.3% rating it very accurate, and 11.8% neutral). Event presentation and tech limitations—such as lacking a live scoreboard or dynamic rankings display—were flagged for future improvement.
Community Response & Future Outlook
While social media buzz was decent, the excitement in the gym was electric. With better visual presentation and clearer rankings during the event, future editions promise to attract even more attention online and in person.
Plans are already underway for upcoming events in the USA, building on the success and momentum of this championship. Goals include:
- Improved judging standards
- Live ranking displays (TV setup)
- Streamlined equipment and tech setups
- Higher production value for audience engagement
