2025 was a full packed and exciting year for us as FinalRep. We have started with the ambition to coordinate a worldwide competition season and to host a World championship on a new scale. He have engaged throughout our international Qualifier season with 14 countries at 4 different continents with over 800 athletes participating. We were able to welcome over 80 athletes from 24 countries in Germany. And moreover, we have build an international network of volunteers on various positions. Or to summarize in one sentence:
„The year 2025 has set a remarkable note in the past growth of Streetlifting worldwide.“
This being said, we would like to share a short wrap up of the 2025 sport season from our perspective on certain topics.
Competition Network
In 2024 we started to officially collaborate with partners across Europe to have an official Qualifiers seasons that selects the best athletes. Our goal was clear: uniform conditions for fair comparability while creating amazing sport events together. This first season provided us with extensive feedback and leanings that we were able to incorporate into the WORLDS seasons. However, this project was just on a different level from the management perspective. Especially the fact that the market conditions vary a lot across the globe brought a lot of obstacles with it.
However, the will and dedication of all partners worldwide was unbroken and enabled an acceptable level of comparability worldwide. And this is the most important point that we would like to highlight.
Also very important to us and all partners were the encompassing feedback that we got throughout the seasons and for the WORLD championship itself. This just showed to us, how much you all care about the development of this sport (we got over 200 feedback survey inscriptions in 2025). We can assure you, that we are taking all the feedback and evaluating this properly, as we did with the feedback on Judging about WORLDS (later chapter).
All of these efforts in 2025 from both our team and all partners worldwide lead to an explosion of attention and community vibe worldwide. Even if not officially announced yet, the network of nations collaborating with FinalRep on Streetlifting events has already double by today! The following graphic shall visualize the extraordinary growth:
Rulebook maturity
The 2025 has shown that even if the FinalRep rulebook is accepted worldwide as „the gold standard“, its maturity is still in the early stages. This includes not only the rules itself but also its education and implementation. Nonetheless, we have started the year 2025 with another big milestone: the launch of a Judging License to educate Judges on the FinalRep rulebook. Over the season we have been witnessing different levels of implementation across all affiliated competitions. Both our own insights and the feedback from participants have shown:
Competitions with a higher number of licensed judges provided not only a more professional judging, they also provided a better structure of the overall event itself!
This result is due to the fact that everyone who completes the Judging License, has gained valuable insights in the sport itself. The more people are taking positions of responsibility in an event, the more professional the event itself appears. This being said, we are planning to better promote the Judging License not only to Judges but to everyone who better wants to understand the sport.
Finally, as this competition season ended with the WORLDS 25 in Germany in October, the judging and the rules got proofed on the highest level. As a result, we received a lot of feedback on both. The message here was clear: the rules need iteration! This feedback got handled very seriously by the FinalRep Judging Committee that we introduced in 2024 as an international working group to further develop and secure the credibility of the rules. Within the last 3 moths, the committee has held 6 encompassing calls including numerous hours of preparation that will lead into several significant changes. These changes are based on the principle to increase the relevance of pure strength over the over accuracy of execution.
The new rulebook will be published on 31.12.2025

Learnings from the 2025 season
The overall season 2025 has presented us the following perspective: the sport is now evolving out of its very early stages into a period of rapid growth. This is reflected by the amount of competitions, athletes and manufacturers of Streetlifting equipment. This stage comes with the following challenges:
- The education towards organizers, athletes and the general public
- The improvement of our working structures to include new partners with high quality and low efforts
- The creation of an international sponsorship system that is able to attract big international sponsors
- The creation of an official governance structure for the global Streetlifting sport.
- The importance of a healthy environment around the sport.
All these challenges have been recognized by us and will be handled with sincerity in the upcoming weeks and months.
