>> Having an anti-doping system increases the credibility and fairness of a sport. <<
As the organizer of some of the world’s most professional and prestigious Streetlifting competitions, we see a responsibility in our work, to raise a doping-test structure for this sport. Our aim is to introduce an anti-doping system, that is adapted to the requirements and expectations of an up-coming and internationally growing trend sport.
To implement doping-test systems into the sport, we have found a doping-free sports league, called the „FINALREP SPORTS LEAGUE“ or „FSL“. Our approach for the beginning is that all athletes who take part in the top competitions (WORLDS, EUROS, etc.) are systematically doping tested. Important note: We do not claim to have a doping-free sport! – We are working on setting up doping test structures.
The FINALREP SPORTS LEAGUE (FSL) creates a legal framework for the planning and implementation of doping tests in competition sport. An integral part of the FSL’s doping test system are the FinalRep Anti-Doping Regulations (FADR). The planning, coordination and execution of the test is carried out by a professional doping test agency.
The basis for participation in FSL affiliated competitions is the athlete’s membership in the FINALREP SPORTS LEAGUE and thus inclusion in a testing pool. The testing consists of off-season and competition-day (on-site) testing. (A) Off-season testing: All athletes in the pool can be tested at any time and unannounced. (B) Competition-day testing: At competitions, selected athletes are tested directly after their competition. All further information on implementation can be found in the FADR
Each athlete subscribes to a membership for 12 months. The cost of this membership is EUR 69 per year. For athletes participating in the EUROS 24, the first year’s membership fee is funded by the drug testing fee collected through the Qualifier competitions.
Applications for membership in the FINALREP SPORTS LEAGUE are made using the form below. Once the data has been submitted, it will be checked for completeness and subsequently confirmed by the FSL. Further information on membership can be found in the GTC & FAQ.
DISCLAIMER: everyone must inform themselves independently about the rules of doping-free sport!
